Service Description

This three-part childbirth education class is designed to help families understand how birth works to navigate a variety of birth experiences with confidence. To support families with different journeys, we cover the natural, physiological processes of labor and birth, and also explore common interventions and pharmacological pain-relief options so families feel informed and prepared for whichever path they choose and have the information necessary for if circumstances shift along the way. We share practical coping techniques and comfort measures that support the body during labor and help families create birth wishes and plan for postpartum in a meaningful way. This course is built for families birthing in any setting, and is designed to be inclusive of all kinds of parents and families - first time parents, seasoned parents, single-parents, and multiple caregivers. We have also strived to be inclusive of race, gender, sexual orientation. This course is meant for you to bring a support person so each booking accounts for two people attending.
